On our way out of the festival on our first visit, we stopped by the Masterpiece Kitchen booth. Brandon really wanted to get the Charcuterie Palette. I was full at this point, but did decide to check out the two dessert options at the booth. There are two dishes that are listed as gluten friendly -- both of which are chocolate art.Because this booth is NOT 100% gluten free, there is always an increased risk of cross-contamination. Use your own judgement when consuming items that are not in dedicated gluten free booths. Please note that there are no 100% gluten free booths at this year’s Festival of the Arts. The Mickey and Pluto White Chocolate Art Painting was marked gluten free friendly. It comes pre-packaged and is just adorable. We didn't eat the chocolate while at the festival, but instead decided to take it home. While there I did get the Meeker Vineyard Winemakers Handprint Merlot which was served chilled. I really enjoyed this red wine a lot, especially after having the one from the Cuisine Classique booth that was not very good.Of course, we had to take a few cute photo ops with the chocolate art. It was just too cute to pass up.When we got home, I did take a photo of the allergen information and ingredients. It does note that the chocolate was made on equipment that included peanuts, tree nuts, peanut oil, canola oil, sulfites, eggs, and wheat in addition to soy and milk which are ingredients found in the chocolate. With this in mind, you'll want to proceed with caution if you consume the chocolate. I really hate white chocolate, so it's not one I'd probably try anyway.I was a bit disappointed to see the issues with other allergens on the chocolate, so this will definitely not be something we'll get again -- though there are so many cute chocolate art paintings at the festival. What do you think of the Masterpiece Kitchen? Would you order the chocolate there?
