October 2010 Trip -- WDW Wedding

Well folks, looks like I'll be heading to WDW in October for my brother's wedding. He and his fiancee decided that WDW was perfect for their nuptials. They are getting married at Sunset Pointe at Disney's Polynesian Resort. Afterwards, they'll be having a reception dinner at Kona Cafe. The great thing is, they are making sure that those with dietary restrictions are taken care of. They are going to make sure there is a safe dessert option for the cake cutting ceremony, as well as at dinner. I've had great experiences with breakfast at Kona Cafe, so I am sure that dinner will be just wonderful.

I'm thinking of staying at the Contemporary's Bay Lake Towers or some other DVC rooms because of the convenience with the kitchenette. In addition, it's nice and close transportation wise. I'd love to check out the Wave and Chef Mickey's GF/CF! Here's some restaurants the family has been talking about checking out:

  • The Wave @ Disney's Contemporary
  • 50's Prime Time Cafe @ Hollywood Studios
  • The Rose and Crown @ Epcot
  • Garden Grill @ Epcot
  • Liberty Tree Tavern @ Magic Kingdom
  • Chef Mickey's @ Disney's Contemporary

Of course, we are going to go to 'Ohana and Kona Cafe for sure. Breakfast at Kona is a must for me, as is dinner at 'Ohana.

I can't wait to start planning!
If anyone has any tips or reviews of these restaurants, I'd love to hear them!
